In short
Rakeez is an HR and payroll system that companies buy for their staff. The Rakeez mobile app is the employee's window into it: clock in and out, request leave, and read your own payslip.
The app collects only what those three jobs require. It carries no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party trackers of any kind. Nothing it collects is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone outside your own employer.
Who is responsible for your data
This distinction matters, because it decides who you talk to:
- Your employer is the data controller. They decide that Rakeez is used, which of your details are entered, and how long records are kept. Your employment record belongs to them.
- Rakeez is the data processor. We store and process that data on your employer's instructions, and we do not use it for any purpose of our own.
So a request to correct or erase your record normally goes to your employer's HR department first. We will always help them act on it.
What the app collects
This is the complete list. Every row is collected for the stated purpose and no other.

Your payslip, leave balance and pay figures are shown to you, not gathered from you. They already exist in your employer's records; the app displays them. The phone does not calculate anything about your pay.
What Rakeez never does
None of the following happens, in any version of the app
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers
- No analytics, telemetry or behavioural profiling
- No third-party SDKs that receive your data
- No selling or renting of personal data, ever
- No background or continuous location tracking
- No access to your contacts, messages, call history or files
- No reading of photos you did not choose to attach
Permissions the app asks for
Android will ask your permission before any of these. You can refuse, and you can withdraw permission later in your device settings — the rest of the app keeps working.
- Location — used only at the instant of a clock in or clock out. If you refuse it, your employer may require you to record attendance another way.
- Camera and photo selection — used only when you actively take or choose a photo to attach.
How your data is protected
- Everything the app sends travels over HTTPS (TLS), to app.rakeezhr.com and to no other host.
- Your sign-in token is kept in the operating system's encrypted keystore.
- Each company's records are isolated from every other company's. Staff of one employer cannot see another employer's data.
- Within your own company, access follows your employer's roles: an employee sees their own record; managers and HR see what their role permits.
Where data is stored, and for how long
Data is held on managed servers on our behalf and is retained for as long as your employer keeps your employment record, or as long as Egyptian law requires them to. When your employer deletes a record, it is removed from the live system.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal data held about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, or to have it erased where there is no legal or employment reason to keep it. Because your employer is the controller, start with your HR department. If you cannot reach them, or they do not respond, contact us at the address below and we will help.
Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your employment record — that record is your employer's, not the app's.
Children
Rakeez is a workplace tool, provided to employed adults by their employer. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or why, we will change the version and date at the top of this page, and material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
